Some of my favorite memories are of days at the beach collecting shells with my sister Patty. My Aunt Lena took us to Nantasket Beach, MA at sunup...or at least it felt that way! We were usually among the first people on the beach, wearing sweatshirts to block the cool morning air as we hunted for our treasures.
This ornament starts a new collection of memories under glass. I hope you find your beachcombing memories in it as well!
As with all my ornaments this one is also available at my Etsy store! I hope you enjoy it!

A Work In Progress
This is my newest creation. The viewing area is surrounded by a rose vine and topped with a single cream rose. Lots of glitter glass...actually two different layers of glitter. I'm working on the cap right now...doing something a little different. This ornament will be given away as part of the One Heart One World blog event. I'll have more details in the next few days. Stay tuned!

Sonny's Ornament
Happy New Year! Memories Under Glass launched this time last year and I'm thrilled at how well received it's been. We had a very busy Christmas season. I wish that I had photographed more of the ornaments. I do have this one very special ornament to share with you. It's a tribute to Sonny...a much loved grand old gal. Isn't that a marvelous face!
I'm going to be adding a new feature this month. You can order your ornament frame by selecting from the options you see now and I'll custom create it for you, or you can purchase a finished ornament frame and then send me your photo for insertion.
I'll be doing a variety of theme ornament frames from Shabby Chic to nautical. So stand by and watch for our new additions!

Wedding Ornament & Stand
This ornament makes a wonderful memento of that special day. It is 4 inches in diameter, covered heavily in clear glitter and topped with a shear ribbon and a trio of clay roses with leaves. The gold-edged window frame is studded randomly with small pearls. The 4 prong lucite stand is included.
Please refer to "How it Works" for instructions on ordering your personalized ornament. Roses may vary as do all handmade items.

Graduation Ornament & Stand
I love this ornament but, boy, has it been tough to photograph! the ornament is 4 inches in diameter and is covered with chunk glass chips. There are pearls embedded in the gold window trim. The ornament is topped with a shear cream bow and a gold tassel hangs on the side. The photo itself was trimmed to size and the words "Sarah Mae - Northbridge - 4K Graduation 2006" added in a semi-circle along the bottom of the photo.
Your photo will be personalized as well. Please note the "How It Works" section for more details.

Peek-A-Boo Ornament
This little cutie is 3.25 inches in diameter. It's covered in glitter and the flat face window is surrounded by a gold bow with a pearl at the center. The bow openings are left clear.
This ornament lends itself to just about any photo option. I top it with a shear gold bow and it sits on an acrylic stand for year round display.
I'll need your photo to complete the ornament. Be sure that the photo will look good when cropped to a 3.25 inch circle. Measure it yourself to be sure. The other option is to send me a couple of photos if you're not sure. I prefer your photo by E-Mail but a hard copy will do. If you send a hard copy I'll scan it and return the original to you with your ornament.

Family Photo Ornament
This is our 4 inch glitter and pearl ornament. It's the one the I used in the sample photo with my mom and sister. It comes with a lightweight acrylic stand for year round display. I also top it with a sheer gold bow.
